### Description

The City of Hoboken requests proposals from qualified attorneys to provide legal representation as an Alternate Municipal Public Defender, in accordance with the specifications or a City-approved equivalent and N.J.S.A. 2B:24-4. The City may qualify multiple public defenders, who will be per diem, non-employees and paid $450 per court session in lieu of other fees and benefits. Sessions average two to five hours, and the attorney must appear in person when assigned unless otherwise directed by the court officer. A $150 fee for a court briefing package may be invoiced with prior written approval; the contract term is January 1 through December 31, 2027.
