The Town of Davie is seeking a contractor to manage and maintain its municipal fleet and related facilities.

- **Key service requirements:** The contractor must provide qualified, licensed, and insured technicians, including at least two Emergency Vehicle Technicians (or one per six fire apparatus), five light- and medium-duty technicians, and a certified welder. The garage workforce must hold ASE Blue Seal certification, and specified inspection and certification work must be performed by a licensed third party.
- **Performance and systems:** Targets include at least 94% on-time preventive maintenance, 84% of work completed within 24 hours, and 89% within 48 hours. The contractor must coordinate 24/7 road-call service, use the Town-provided FASTER fleet management software, supply required computer hardware and an on-site system administrator, and provide monthly performance and cost reports.
- **Experience and pricing:** The proposer or its principals must have at least five years of comparable fleet-management and maintenance experience, and the assigned general manager must have at least three years of similar supervisory experience. Proposals must separately price labor, parts and services, overhead, and administrative fees for each of the first five contract years; prices remain firm over the contract term and renewal options.
- **Estimated budget:** $5.2 million. The Town may apply performance-based penalties and incentives.
