The USDA Forest Service is seeking a two-season lease of two new mountain snowmobiles for the Hebgen Lake Ranger District.
- Government buyer: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service; USDA-FS, CSA Northwest 3; Hebgen Lake Ranger District.
- Requested equipment: 2 new 2027 mountain snowmobiles. Each must have an 850 cc-or-greater two-stroke engine, a 153–155-inch track with at least 2.5-inch lugs, electric start, reverse, and factory-installed ice scratchers.
- **OEMs and vendors:** No manufacturers, makes, models, or vendors are named; offerors must identify the proposed equipment.
- Lease service: Two seasonal operating periods over two years, with delivery, transportation and setup, a two-year manufacturer warranty or acceptable equivalent, and warranty service and repairs. Each snowmobile must include a 5,000-mile allowance across the lease periods.
- If a snowmobile is unavailable for maintenance or repair for more than one business day, the contractor must provide a comparable replacement at no added cost. If the Government does not purchase the snowmobiles at lease end, the contractor must retrieve them and provide return transportation.
- Offerors must provide a separate optional end-of-lease purchase price; the purchase is not included in the lease price.
