### Description

Ulster County seeks a qualified contractor to retube Boiler No. 3 and replace the heat exchanger tube bundle, associated valves, and controls in Vanderlyn Hall at SUNY Ulster in Stone Ridge, New York. The work includes liquid penetrant examination of Boiler No. 3’s rear tube sheet for cracks, with written findings provided to SUNY Ulster; crack repairs are excluded from the base bid and require prior written authorization. The contract begins January 1, 2027 and continues until successful completion of the work and final acceptance by SUNY Ulster, with the repair start scheduled in coordination with SUNY Ulster. An asbestos survey will be performed by others, and asbestos inspection, testing, or abatement is not to be included in the bid price.
