The U.S. Air Force is researching qualified sources for depot-level maintenance of C-130 NP2000 propeller-system components operated by the Air Force and Navy.
- **Government buyer:** United States Air Force; the notice identifies Air Force Materiel Command’s Air Force Sustainment Center, office FA8538 AFSC PZAAB. The attachment identifies the C-130 Sustainment Division, 409 SCMS/GUMBB, and Justin Crosby as the government contact.
- **OEMs and vendors:** No OEM, repair vendor, or other commercial supplier is named in the notice. The work must follow validated OEM commercial maintenance manuals; technical data is held by approved sources.
- **Requested work:** Depot-level inspection, teardown, analysis, repair, overhaul, upgrade and/or modification, and testing of the listed NP2000 components. Associated work includes spare sub-component procurement, handling, storage, transportation, data collection, engineering support, and addressing obsolete parts and deficiency reports.
- **Listed repairable components:** 19 NSN/part-number combinations are provided below. Quantities are not specified.
- **Notable requirements:** Return repaired assets in Ready-for-Issue condition and meet applicable performance thresholds. The provider must furnish and maintain the materials, support equipment, tools, and calibrated test equipment needed for the work. Replacement materials and parts must meet or exceed original quality.
- **Value and term:** No quantities, contract value, or period of performance are specified. The value range below is a highly uncertain planning estimate.
