This VA notice concerns maintenance and repair of GE radiology equipment, with an attached scope listing five imaging and power-system assets.
- **Procurement and approach:** VA Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) describes an intended sole-source, firm-fixed-price procurement for GE radiology X-ray equipment at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS). This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive quotes.
- **Service requirement:** Scope repair, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, parts and labor, equipment verification, software/firmware updates, and applicable safety or reliability modifications. The notice says GE Precision Healthcare LLC is the only approved and authorized provider for the GE equipment; respondents asserting capability must provide a GE authorization letter.

- **Attachment service levels:** The Fresno VA Medical Center scope calls for 24/7 emergency telephone consultation at no additional cost, on-site response within four hours, and next-day repair parts.
- **Term:** The notice anticipates one base year plus four 12-month options. The attachment gives a base period of December 27, 2026–December 26, 2027, and four option years ending December 26, 2031.
- **Important scope discrepancy:** The notice identifies VAPIHCS, while the attached statement of work identifies the VA Central California Health Care System/Fresno VA Medical Center and lists five assets. Confirm which location and equipment list govern the requirement.

### Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to GE Precision Healthcare LLC, for a base year plus 4-12 month option periods, because GE Precision Healthcare is sole manufacturer, and is the only approved and authorized vendor to service GE equipment in place at VAPIHCS. We believe there are no authorized third parties that can provide scope repair/preventative services and parts that can satisfy this requirement. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached. If you believe that your company is capable and authorized to perform these services in accordance with the SOW, please provide your information and capability along with an authorization letter from GE by responding to derrick.hill1@va.gov no later than November 7, 2026, by 10 A.M. PST. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See attached SOW.
