### Description

The National Park Service seeks to jointly administer a graduate-level internship program to improve the business management and operational health of national parks and NPS programs. The program will provide students with training in NPS business management and operations, exposure to park or program operations, and opportunities to conduct analysis and recommend improvements to strategic planning and management decisions. It also aims to encourage graduate students from disciplines underrepresented in the NPS workforce to consider federal conservation and land management careers and to cultivate stewardship of public lands. Eligible recipients include state, local, and tribal governments, other public entities, educational institutions, and private nonprofit organizations.
