It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.</p>

<p><strong><u>Background</u></strong></p>

<p>The&nbsp;Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Clarksburg, WV (CJIS)&nbsp;is issuing this Request for Information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties able to provide and install a portion or all the listed furniture in the attached &#39;Basis of Design List.&#39; CJIS has a terrace that was recently resurfaced and is planning to furnish the space with a combination of dining furniture, lounge furniture, and shade structures to make it usable by employees. The listed furniture is for basis-of-design only. The FBI will accept substitutions if deemed technically equivalent in comparison to the provided specifications and product data. Acceptance of the substitutions is at the discretion of CJIS.</p>
