### Description

HUD is requesting approval from the Office of Management and Budget for a revised information collection and seeking public comment under the Paperwork Reduction Act. FHA Catalyst is an existing web-based portal for FHA multifamily lenders to submit mortgage insurance applications to HUD. The new Portal + Loan Underwriting System (PLUS) will let FHA multifamily and healthcare lenders request FHA Project Numbers and track application status in real time; additional functions are planned for later phases, and PLUS is expected to replace multifamily lender portal functions in Catalyst, likely in 2027. Comments are due December 7, 2026.
