### Description

<p>This is a notice of intent to award &nbsp;multiple sole-source, firm-fixed-price delivery orders to Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company (CAGE: 96336, UEI: JU3GGVGN9ML8) for the acquisition of and testing of developmental CAD/PAD technologies critical for the CAD/PAD Joint Program Office. This include the purchase of Flexible Confined Detonating Cord Assemblies (FCDCAs), FCDCA adaptors, and Exploding-Bridgewire Electric Detonators (EEDs). The estimated period of performance is 360 days ADC. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, &quot;Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.&quot;</p>

Additionally, this contract action will be awarded as an order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA N0017426G1004) between the Government and Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense.</p>

<p>Purpose of this Notice: These BOA Orders are being pursued on a sole source basis under authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as is implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is the only known, qualified responsible source that has the ability and resources necessary to fulfill the requirements herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is Solely within the discretion of the Government.</p>
