NAIT is seeking a qualified geotechnical engineering consultant to investigate subsurface conditions beneath an existing interior floor slab in an occupied post-secondary educational facility. The consultant will determine the nature and extent of conditions contributing to settlement, movement, cracking, heaving, voiding, or loss of support and provide remediation recommendations and considerations for future redevelopment. The facility will remain operational, so the investigation must minimize disruption to students, staff, faculty, and operations. The delivery period is October 26, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
