### Description

This final rule correction addresses technical errors in the FY 2027 Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities Prospective Payment System (IPF PPS) final action published on July 31, 2026. It corrects IPF wage index calculations, related budget neutrality factors, payment rates, and payment impact tables, along with several typographical errors and an omitted footnote. The correction updates the federal per diem base rate and electroconvulsive therapy payment amounts and is effective October 1, 2026. It does not make substantive changes to the policies or payment methodologies adopted in the original final rule.
