The U.S. Air Force is seeking industry input on comprehensive grounds maintenance services at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
- **Opportunity:** An industry site visit and request for comments on a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS); this is not an RFP or RFQ and does not guarantee a future solicitation.
- **Scope:** Contractor supplies personnel, equipment, tools, and supervision for mowing, trimming, irrigation, weed and pest control, fertilization, aeration, debris removal, drainage-ditch work, tree and shrub care, and other grounds upkeep.
- **Estimated grounds workload:** 345.1 acres of improved grounds; 478.9 acres of semi-improved grounds; 601.13 acres of unimproved grounds plus 86.45 acres of right-of-way; and 908.1 acres of airfield/BASH grounds. The PWS also lists 55.4 acres for airfield lighting, navigation aids, and pavement areas.
- **Estimated service frequencies:** Improved grounds receive 18–22 services per year; semi-improved grounds, 6; unimproved and right-of-way grounds, 2; and airfield/BASH grounds and airfield lighting/navigation aid/pavement areas, 2.
