### Description

The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is removing duplicative regulatory provisions and adding provisions directing readers to the Sanctions Penalties Regulations for penalties information. OFAC is also reorganizing information about delegations of authority, recordkeeping and reporting requirements, and the Paperwork Reduction Act into an expanded subpart at the beginning of multiple parts of its Code of Federal Regulations chapter. The rule applies to the listed parts of 31 CFR and is effective September 30, 2026.
