### Description

Patrick County, Virginia is soliciting proposals from qualified Internet Service Providers to provide broadband infrastructure construction and related services for eligible broadband expansion areas within Patrick County. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with a qualified provider capable of designing, engineering, permitting, constructing, activating, operating, and supporting the broadband infrastructure necessary to extend reliable, high-speed internet service to eligible locations within Patrick County. The project is supported by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) under Grant No. 24-BB-03A and administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The selected provider must comply with federal and state funding requirements including Davis-Bacon prevailing wage and equal employment opportunity regulations.
