### Description

The Department of National Defence requires Hook, Hoist spares to support the Halifax-class system, specifically the ERN 28-980 Multi Purpose Weather Deck Crane (AKA MRB Crane) on Halifax Class Ships. The hooks and hoists must have a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 10,000 kg, be proof-load tested at a minimum of 20,000 kg by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), possess a valid DNV Type Examination Certificate (Module B), be permanently marked with the SWL, and have a unique serial number traceable to OEM certification records. Prior to delivery, the contractor must provide certificates of conformity, product certificates, proof-load test certificates, and a copy of the valid DNV certificate for each item. Delivery is requested at CFB Halifax and CFB Esquimalt, with an estimated contract duration of 18 months.
