### Description

<p>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Family Health Centers of San Diego, Inc. to develop and implement tele-mentoring and webinar educational programs related to complex infection-associated chronic conditions and illnesses (IACCIs). Family Health Centers coordinated related webinars and on-demand short courses for primary care providers nationally. These educational services addressed primary care providers&rsquo; needs for information, as ascertained through the mentoring program in the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).</p>

<p>Family Health Centers of San Diego has supported the only online medical education and mentoring program on the clinical management of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) available to healthcare providers in primary care settings. This established experience provides continuity and allows for an updated curriculum and materials because of Family Health Centers of San Diego&rsquo;s ongoing involvement in delivering educational programs in this topic area with CDC.</p>

<p>This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of &nbsp;RFO FAR 12.201-1 simplified procedures pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901, and is justified under 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). See note below.</p>

<p>This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within two of days of the issuance of this notice shall be considered by the government.&nbsp; A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.&nbsp; Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.&nbsp; Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at kwp9@cdc.gov, by the closing date of this posting.</p>
