<p>NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.</p>

<p>This announcement constitutes the only notice that will be published.</p>

<p>The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole‑source, firm‑fixed‑price contract to Control Laser Corporation, 5107 Forsyth Commerce Road, Orlando, FL 32807, for the procurement of a FALIT TRIO Laser System and integrated workstation.</p>

<p>This acquisition will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302‑1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.</p>

<p>The Government requires a FALIT TRIO Laser System capable of high‑accuracy laser marking, engraving, and micromachining operations. The system must include:</p>

<ul>
	<li>High‑precision laser marking, engraving, and micromachining</li>
	<li>Integrated multi‑axis motion control</li>
	<li>A Class‑1 safety‑certified enclosure</li>
	<li>Control Laser&rsquo;s proprietary FALIT TRIO laser architecture</li>
	<li>Control Laser&rsquo;s proprietary software suite</li>
	<li>Full compatibility with existing Government‑owned Control Laser equipment, tooling, job files, and workflows</li>
</ul>

<p>This system supports mission‑critical operations that rely on the Control Laser ecosystem.</p>

<p>This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source that believes it can meet the requirements may submit a capability statement to Contracting Officer Adelle Bolton at albolton@fbi.gov. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM ET on September 29, 2026, and must clearly show the firm&rsquo;s ability to provide an equivalent system without compromising compatibility, performance, or proprietary technology requirements. Justification is available upon request.</p>

<p>No phone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, along with the company&rsquo;s Unique Entity ID (UEID) and business size classification.</p>

<p>A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.</p>
