### Description

The Coast Guard proposes to modify the operating schedule for the Route 156 Bridge across Niantic River, mile 0.1, between Waterford and Niantic, CT. The Connecticut Department of Transportation requested to remove the opening restrictions currently in place from November 1 through April 30 to allow consistent bridge operations year-round. The proposed rule would allow the drawbridge to open on signal for commercial vessels year-round and for recreational vessels year-round except during certain morning and afternoon hours on weekdays.
