### Description

<p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), has a requirement for Maize Winter Nursery Services in Chile. The contractor shall provide all necessary field activities, including land, land preparation, planting, monitoring, weed and pest control, pollination services, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting, drying and shelling as required, progress reporting, inspections, fumigation as required, and preparation of seed for return shipment.</p>

<p>The requirement consists of approximately 1,500 nursery rows and will be performed in the country of Chile. The period of performance is October 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027.</p>
