<p>This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is issued by the United States</p>

<p>Coast Guard (USCG) for information and planning purposes, pursuant to Federal Acquisition</p>

<p>Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)</p>

<p>or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. All participants are advised that the Government will</p>

<p>not pay for any information or administrative costs that result from responding to this RFI; all</p>

<p>costs associated with responding to this RFI will be at the interested party&rsquo;s expense. Not</p>

<p>responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.</p>

<p><strong>2.0 PURPOSE</strong></p>

<p>The purpose of this RFI is to increase the USCG&rsquo;s understanding of companies that can manufacture a pair of replacement hangar doors along with their associated tracks and operator for the USCGC HEALY. The hangar door system shall have the following characteristics:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Completely fill the existing 17&rsquo;-0&rdquo; (x) x 18&rsquo;-0&rdquo; (H) hangar opening.</li>
	<li>Accommodate the transit of an H-60 helicopter (folding rotor and tail variant) with no obstructions or interferences</li>
	<li>Meet the requirements of a Type 1 Class 1 door in MIL-DTL-24151 with the following exceptions:
	<ul>
		<li>3.4.2.5, 3.4.2.6, 3.4.2.11</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Operate in Arctic conditions</li>
	<li>Comply with NAVAIR Certification.</li>
</ul>
