### Description

The Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) is seeking to select one qualified firm to serve as the agency's Public Information Officer and provide strategic communications counsel on an as-needed basis. The contract term is initially two years with an option to extend up to three additional years, and total compensation shall not exceed $500,000 for the initial period. The scope includes strategic communications counsel, media relations, issues management, media placement, community engagement including Spanish-language capabilities, message development, and support for public records requests.
