GENERAL INFORMATION

Title: Procurement of CEM Peptide synthesizer Liberty Blue 2.0

Background Information: The peptide synthesizer is required for expeditious synthesis of peptides for therapeutic testing and use, The Liberty Blue™ 2.0 System is an automated microwave peptide synthesizer designed for Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis from 0.005 - 5mmol scale using reaction vessels ranging from 30-125 mL volume. The Liberty Blue™ 2.0 uses a Discover® single mode microwave reactor that provides for self-tuning with a continuous power delivery from 0-300 W in 1 W increments. The system contains (20) ports stand for amino acids,(7) additional unusual amino acid ports, and (4) external ports for other reagents. All reagent deliveries are controlled by nitrogen pressure. Amino acid and activation reagents are delivered with the Flex-Add™ technology allowing for precise and accurate delivery. Includes innovative headspace cleaning process which fosters a cleaner reaction vessel environment and provides unprecedented levels of peptide purity. Includes:- Camera Option - Provides the ability to view reactions as they are being irradiated in the microwave cavity.
