The Indian Health Service (IHS), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is seeking qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) to provide secure, on-site mobile document shredding services for the Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center (DZHC). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - Indian Health Service (IHS) - Office: ASFR/OMAS - Services Requested: - Monthly on-site mobile shredding of sensitive paper documents - Use of three 95-gallon lockable security containers for collection - Cross-cut shredding method required - Service must be performed during normal business hours - Compliance and Certification Requirements: - Must comply with HIPAA, the Privacy Act, and NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) certification standards - Contractor personnel must be trained, bonded, and uniformed - Business Associate Agreement and Certificate of Destruction required after each service - Vendor Eligibility: - Only Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) are eligible - Vendors must submit a completed IHS Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form - No specific OEMs or equipment manufacturers are named in the notice

In accordance with the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. § 47), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the HHS Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR), the purpose of this notice is to identify and obtain information from qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of providing on-site mobile document shredding services.

Vendors designated as IEE or ISBEE firms and capable of providing the required services must complete and submit the attached IHS Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form as part of the capability statement submission or proposal submission.
