(JCI) is referenced for recommended maintenance procedures - Products/Services Requested: - Preventative maintenance, inspection, cleaning, testing, and repair of high and low voltage electrical equipment - Equipment includes: - 4160V switchgear SG4100 (1 unit) - CHP 480V Motor Control Center MCC-7 (1 unit; 6 sections, 20 buckets) - CHP step up transformer TL-1301 (1 unit; 4160V to 13.8KV, 8.4 MVA) - CHP dry type transformer TD-4001 (1 unit; 4160V to 480V, 750 KVA) - Dry type transformer (1 unit; 480V: 208/120V, 75 KVA) - Two battery banks and three chargers (1 service event) - Four electrical panels (1 service event) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All work must follow ANSI/NETA MTS standards and manufacturer (including JCI) recommendations - Maintenance is to be performed during a scheduled CHP system shutdown, with a preference for the Fall outage - The complete system shutdown will last approximately 36 hours during a 5-day outage window - Both high and low voltage equipment are included in the scope

This is a notice to request information from industry to help the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) determine the availability and capability of small businesses and other than small businesses to provide preventative maintenance, repair, and testing service for high, and low voltage electrical equipment of the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system at the Central Plant (Building 302) of National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) Gaithersburg.
