Description
The City of Laredo is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified architectural firms to provide professional complete design products including surveys, testing, and preparation of plans and specifications for owner-occupied, single-family residential projects under the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Program and HOME Homeowner Reconstruction Program. The scope includes schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction phase services, covering structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical design, roofing, geotechnical investigation, foundation design, and surveys. The architect will act as the homeowner's representative during construction, administering the contract between the homeowner and contractor. The contract term is two years with an option to extend for an additional two years, and the award will be made to the two top selected firms on a rotation/as-needed basis.
