Town of Battleford 3rd Avenue Crescent Water and Sewer Replacement Project

The Town of Battleford is seeking contractors for a comprehensive water and sewer infrastructure replacement project on 3rd Avenue Crescent. - Government Buyer: - Town of Battleford (procurement authority) - BCL Engineering Ltd. (consulting engineer) - Products and Services Requested: - Supply and installation of approximately 400 linear meters of 150 mm water main - Includes replacement of valves and fire hydrants - Replacement of approximately 350 linear meters of 200 mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer main - Includes installation of 1,050 mm diameter standard manholes - Removal and disposal of existing water main, sewer main, manholes, valves, and fire hydrants - Replacement of 22 building services (water and sewer service pipe, curb stops, removal of existing services) - Roadway upgrades: placement of approximately 4,250 square meters of subgrade, base materials, and asphalt surface course - Removal and replacement of approximately 675 linear meters of existing asphalt curbing with concrete rolled curb and gutter (including 200 mm base course) - Provision of temporary water and sewer service during construction - Site cleanup after completion - Repair of defects for one year after completion - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must supply all materials and equipment - Temporary water and sewer service must be maintained for affected properties during construction - A certified cheque or bid bond of 10% of the tendered amount is required - The owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or proprietary products are specified in the solicitation.

Description

Sealed Tenders are invited from Contractors for the construction of the 3rd Avenue Crescent Water and Sewer Replacement for the Town of Battleford. The work includes supply of materials and equipment, installation of approximately 400 linear meters of 150 mm water main, replacement of approximately 350 linear meters of 200 mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer main and manholes, removal and disposal of existing infrastructure, replacement of building services, roadway upgrades including asphalt surface course, replacement of asphalt curbing with concrete rolled curb and gutter, temporary water and sewer service during the work, provision of roads for ingress and egress, site cleanup, and repair of defects for one year after completion. Tenders must be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond of 10% of the tendered amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and is not obligated to accept the lowest tender.
