Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services is seeking a contractor for the Kings Branch at Arrowood Road – Phase 2A Stream Restoration Project in Charlotte, NC. - Government Buyer: - Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, Charlotte, NC - Project Scope: - Rehabilitation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of Kings Branch and its riparian corridor - Stream grading, installation of rock and wood habitat and stabilization structures - Erosion control measures and planting of riparian vegetation - Construction services including traffic control, rock removal, temporary utility and stream crossings, haul roads with wood chip mulch, silt fences, and erosion control - Pre- and post-construction CCTV inspections of sanitary sewer lines - Herbicidal treatment (approx. 6.5 acres), mulch application, and soil management - Notable Requirements: - 3% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 3% Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goals - Compliance with Mecklenburg County's Business Diversity & Inclusion (BDI) Program - Bid, performance, and payment bonds required - Adherence to technical specifications and all issued addenda - Mandatory letter of interest required prior to bid submission - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All bids must be submitted in hard copy; electronic bids are not accepted

This project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of Kings Branch and its riparian corridor. The scope of work includes stream grading, installation of rock and wood habitat and stabilization structures, erosion control measures, and riparian vegetation.
