Alameda County is seeking a qualified vendor to design and implement a Community Based Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Campaign. - Government Buyer: - County of Alameda Social Services Agency (ACSSA), Finance/Contracts Office - General Services Agency also involved - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive public awareness and education campaign focused on child abuse prevention - Development and ongoing updates for the County's child abuse prevention website - Management of social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) dedicated to child abuse prevention - Production of community engagement materials, including flyers and swag bags - Organization of a countywide event during Child Abuse Prevention Month - Monthly performance reporting and annual evaluations - Liaison and resource navigation services to connect families with prevention resources - Referrals to CAPIT-funded services - Collaboration with Alameda County IT Department for website technical support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Campaign must address priority service areas and target diverse populations within Alameda County - Contractor will act as a liaison for families to access prevention services - Collaboration with community partners and county agencies is required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; current contractor is Family Paths - Bidders must submit a detailed budget including personnel, fringe benefits, operational, and indirect costs - Single countywide award anticipated - Period of Performance: - Three-year base contract with an option to renew for two additional years (up to five years total) - Place of Performance: - Primary location: Alameda County Social Services Agency / Contracts Office, 1111 Jackson Street, 1st Floor, Suite 103, Oakland, CA 94607 - Services to be delivered countywide in Alameda County

Description

This solicitation is for a public awareness and education campaign aimed at increasing awareness of strategies and resources to prevent child abuse and neglect among residents of Alameda County. The campaign should focus on increasing public awareness of ways families can get concrete support, achieve and maintain economic stability, access quality education and health care, create safe spaces, and foster strong community connections. The County intends to award a three-year contract with an option to renew for two additional years. The selected bidder will be responsible for content development, managing social media pages, and community engagement materials.
