Description
The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking a contractor to provide hazardous fuels reduction services at the Cole Family Property located at 3025 Pioneer Trail within the city limits during the 2026 through 2028 operational seasons. The work includes mechanical cutting and removal of vegetation over approximately 50.7 treatable acres, with specific operational plans and treatment prescriptions outlined in the Vegetation Management Plan. The project aims to reduce hazardous fuels, improve forest structure, and increase wildfire resilience, complying with CA Forest Practice Rules and the Forest Fire Prevention Exemption. The City and federal land managers will handle planning, permitting, and project management.
