Description

The City of West Jordan is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive residential solid waste collection, recycling, and related disposal services for approximately 27,500 residential accounts, city facilities, parks, and city-sponsored programs and events. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, vehicles, supervision, materials, and other resources necessary to perform the services. Services include weekly residential solid waste and recycling collection, collection at city facilities and parks, special event waste services, e-waste and shredding events, community dumpster day events, residential dumpster rental program, glass recycling drop-off services, special needs assistance, and tracking and reporting of all collected materials. No fuel surcharges or similar fees will be permitted, and the city pays tipping fees directly to the landfill.
