The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide Medical Physics Inspection Services for the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics in Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration - Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) - James A. Haley VA Hospital and Clinics - Services Requested: - Diagnostic Medical Physics On-Site Support and Inspection Services - Quarterly on-site visits (minimum six hours per visit) - Quality assurance testing, equipment inspections, shielding design calculations, dose rate surveys, consultation, emergency response, and committee participation - Services cover imaging equipment including x-ray, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, mammography, PET/CT, and dental CBCT - All work must be performed by qualified diagnostic medical physicists - Compliance with Joint Commission, federal, and VA standards required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; only professional services are sought - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel - Services must be performed at multiple VA facilities and outpatient clinics - Place of Performance: - James A. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal or quotes and does not obligate the Government toward a contract. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification to include LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING: (Service Disabled owned, Veteran owned small business, Hub Zone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, women owned, small) relative to 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (business size standard $19.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After reviewing the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in www.SAM.gov, also known as Contract Opportunities. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are NOT considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in order to be considered.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), is seeking sources to provide Medical Physics Inspection Services. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel to provide on-site diagnostic medical physics support or services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), under the terms and conditions stated herein and must adhere to the Joint Commission requirements and standards for medical imaging as described/outlined in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS).

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any further information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response as a solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced later, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately form the response to this announcement. Responses to this Sources Sought is not a request to be added to prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
