The U.S. Embassy Bangkok is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive office space renovation on the 3rd floor of the Chancery building. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Facility Management Office (GSO/Procurement) - Contracting office: Department of State, 2201 C St NW, Washington, DC - Scope of Work: - Complete office space renovation on the 3rd floor of the Chancery at 120-122 Wireless Rd., Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, Thailand - Includes demolition, site preparation, structural and architectural work, mechanical and electrical (M&E) work, HVAC, and furniture installation - Contractor must provide all materials, labor, overhead, profit, and insurance - Compliance with U.S. and local safety and building codes is required - Security clearances and detailed project schedules/submittals are mandatory - Products/Services Requested: - Office space renovation (single line item, no specific OEMs or part numbers specified) - Notable Requirements: - Mandatory site visit at the Chancery - Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) - Liquidated damages of 3,000 Baht per day for late completion - Estimated contract value: $25,000 to $100,000 - Period of performance: 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with work to start within 7 days and completion required within 45 days - Place of performance: U.S. Embassy Bangkok Chancery, 120-122 Wireless Rd., Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, Thailand

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for office space renovation on the 3rd floor of the Chancery. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter.

The U.S. government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The site visit is required and has been scheduled for May 28, 2026 at 10:00AM at 3rd Fl, Chancery, 120-122 Wireless Rd. Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, Thailand 10330. Please submit information for personnel joining the site visit by May 27, 2026 before noon (Bangkok local time) to Pinlaorp@state.gov.

Request for questions and drawings regarding this work may be submitted no later than 4:00 P.M. Bangkok Time on June 1, 2026 by email in English to: Pinlaorp@state.gov

Quotations are due by 4:00 PM Bangkok local time on June 16, 2026. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted. Your quotation must be submitted electronically to Pinlaorp@state.gov.  Please enter in the subject line: “Quotation Enclosed-RFQ#19TH2026Q0031- Office space renovation on the 3rd Floor Chancery” It is important to make sure the submission is made in a specific size and format; in MS-Word 2007/2010 or MS-Excel 2007/2010 or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size exceeds 30MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each.

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
