The City of Muskego Plan Commission met on October 6, 2026, and approved several land-use and building proposals. These included retaining an existing historic barn in its current materials and colors; a sign for Muskego Health and Rehabilitation, with a waiver for one sign; a two-family home site plan; and a metal accessory building, amended to require three-foot wainscoting with the final color coordinated with staff. No contracts, vendor selections, purchasing decisions, or procurement-related budget allocations were identified.

The most extensive discussion concerned PJ’s Trucking’s site and operations plan, which the Commission approved with amendments and compliance conditions. The plan limits material piles in the smaller storage areas to 10 feet; requires removal of the large back-site piles according to the DNR’s timeline; requires permits for the larger tarp structures within 30 days; and gives six months to remove or propose an alternative for shipping containers and to verify or correct gravel encroachment across the property line. The Commission removed the proposed requirement to pave the first 200 feet of the driveway, required blocks or dividers to identify parking areas, and retained annual reviews. The Commission also rescheduled its November meeting because of the election and member availability.
