Clermont County Board of County Commissioners regular meeting, October 7, 2026. The board approved several procurement and infrastructure actions: it awarded the adult detention center air-handler replacement contract to Triton Services LLC for $1,266,000 and the Common Pleas boiler replacement contract to Peck, Hannaford & Briggs for $295,466, each with a 300-day completion period. It approved a $64,500 engineering and design contract with Motes Engineering for Probate Court HVAC replacement, a $35,000 change order with Trane US for communications wiring, and a SafeBuilt Ohio agreement addendum increasing services to a not-to-exceed $400,000. Water and sewer project actions included approving a $53,728.29 increase for the water resources maintenance-building project, a $72,515.78 decrease to the Fay Road water-main project contract, and easement-related actions for sewer and road work. The board also approved payment of $3,327,744.59 to vendors and supplemental appropriations totaling $77,354 for juvenile education-program salaries and benefits and a public defender retirement payout.

The board approved a mental health and recovery board grant agreement with a contract term through 2031, subject to possible earlier termination. Staff reported that the county purchasing policy was still under review, with further discussion planned on whether to use the federal $15,000 micro-purchase threshold rather than the county’s $10,000 threshold and whether to require three quotes for purchases covered by master service agreements; approval was anticipated in about two weeks. The board tabled a proposed vacation of 163 feet of Big Indian Road in Washington Township to review newly submitted title information and related access questions. No decision was made on the vacation at this meeting.
