Glendale Housing Authority - 10/06/2026

At the October 6, 2026 regular meeting of the Glendale Housing Authority, staff reported that HUD will provide tenant protection vouchers (EHV-TPVs) for eligible Emergency Housing Voucher families under lease as of September 30, 2026. HUD indicated an award of 169 vouchers, which staff will verify against September 30 data and report back to HUD by October 15. The vouchers include funding, use the Authority’s existing Housing Choice Voucher payment standards, and are expected to be awarded in December, with the transition to be completed by December 31, 2026. Participating families can remain in their existing homes and continue receiving assistance without reapplying or joining the local voucher waiting list; staff said it would notify families by letter and phone.
