10.06.26 - Regular Meeting - Efiingham County Board of Commissioners

The Effingham County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting was held October 6, 2026. Procurement and infrastructure actions included approval of a Georgia Power underground easement and roadway-lighting agreement, and approval of Change Order No. 6 with JA Long, Inc. for the Hodgeville Road at Blue Jay Road roundabout: a $7,175 credit reduced the contract total to $3.768 million. The Board also approved a property exchange agreement with Springfield Living LLC related to relocating the McCall Road/Courthouse Road connection and developing a roundabout, and approved a Georgia Central occupancy-license agreement for the waterline project.
