OCTOBER 6, 2026 SOUTHFIELD ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING

The Southfield Zoning Board of Appeals met on October 6, 2026, and considered two variance requests. In Case 26-23, Mark and Susan Wayne received approval to reconstruct a front porch that would extend four feet into the required front-yard setback at 25145 Prairie Drive. The approval requires them to obtain all required building permits and final inspections. In Case 26-22, the board approved Southfield Corners LLC’s request to reduce the minimum floor area for a gas-station employee kiosk from 750 to 210 square feet, with approval conditioned on the property being rezoned to B3.
