The Liberty District Governing Board met on October 6, 2026. The board approved the FY 2025–26 Annual Financial Report 4–0 and received an annual update on bond and other capital-fund spending. The report described District Additional Assistance spending on software subscriptions, laptops, and maintenance equipment, with about $695,000 in budget carryover; nearly $1 million from adjacent-ways funds was spent on access and traffic-control work for School 8. The presentation also summarized bond-funded school improvements and noted that approximately $33 million in state new-school-facilities funding supported School 8. Staff reported that the district submitted its application for an electric-bus rebate and plans to seek a Verigee report documenting promised energy savings; no new capital contract award was made at this meeting.

The board discussed the delayed district website project with Juicebox Interactive, following the transition from Finalsite. A board member questioned the project timeline and cost structure, noting that the overall agreement was expected to exceed $100,000 and asking for a clearer financial breakdown. Juicebox offered an additional year of hosting and support because of the delay and agreed to provide that commitment in writing; the board requested an updated cost breakdown, but took no action on the website agreement. The board also approved Policy 4-1108, 4–0, requiring governing-board approval and written documentation before employees receive extra-duty pay for duties outside their regular responsibilities. The regular agenda and consent agenda were also approved.
