The North Salt Lake City Council meeting on October 6, 2026, addressed several infrastructure and spending matters. The council approved Resolution 2026-43R, an amendment to the UDOT master agreement for aesthetic improvements at the city’s I-15 interchanges. The agreement establishes an approximately $100,000 contribution per interchange; final designs and quantities will be developed with the design-build contractor, which had not yet been selected. The council also ratified an urgent waterline-break repair authorized with Black Forest, estimated at about $325,000, and approved the consent agenda, which included a $49,480 bid award to replace the Gary Way pump station roof (no vendor named in the transcript) and a Davis County funding agreement for the Pacific Avenue path project using fourth-quarter county option sales and use tax. Resolution 2026-42R adopting updated public-infrastructure specifications also passed.

The council approved Resolution 2026-47R creating an addressing committee, amended to require at least four community representatives while allowing more; no final decision was made on changing addresses in the annexation area. For future city spending and event sponsorship, the council voted to pause all Unity Night Out events pending legal advice on the city’s legal risks and event policy. Other discussion included proposed address-change impacts, public concerns about services and traffic safety, and a Davis County community-resource directory presentation.
