The Sarpy County Board of Equalization and Board of Commissioners met on October 6, 2026. The Board of Equalization approved its consent agenda, including a late-filing license-plate exemption exception raised during public comment, and approved tax correction 18108. The Board of Commissioners approved its consent agenda and an amended interlocal agreement for the Omaha Metro Drug Task Force, removing Council Bluffs and adding the Ralston Police Department; the county described this as the agreement’s only change. The board also approved a $1.5 million pledge of collateral securities from Access Bank. The Deputy Treasurer said the county had just over $17 million deposited with the bank and that deposits were fully covered at 104% by collateral.
