Fall River Conservation Commission meeting, October 5, 2026. The Commission tabled discussion of proposed fee structures pending a presentation, outstanding enforcement orders, and several applications, including an after-the-fact vegetation-restoration proposal, Liberty Utilities’ notice of intent at 994 Jefferson Street, a National Grid transmission-line application, and Mallister’s Towing’s proposed waterfront repairs. No procurement, contract awards, vendor selections, or spending decisions were identified.
The Commission issued orders of conditions for two residential projects. For a proposed single-family home on Archer Street, approval required site plan review before work begins. For a proposal at 1160 Wood Street to rebuild a smaller house farther from a pond and upgrade the septic system, work was also conditioned on site plan review and Board of Health approval. Commissioners and residents discussed runoff, drainage, and sewer concerns; the applicant stated the plans did not propose grade changes. Both orders passed by roll call.
