2026-10-05 Village of Lisle Regular Board Meeting

The Village of Lisle regular board meeting on October 5, 2026, approved the consent agenda, including a $1,021,923.84 invoice list; distributions of surplus TIF funds of $702,966.16 from the Navistar TIF and $579,600.37 from the Universal Technical Institute TIF; and a $212,818.12 TIF reimbursement to International Motors LLC. The board also approved a $38,372.21 purchase order to the DuPage County Emergency Telephone System Board for upgraded radios and system costs, and a $297,445.64 contract with Mohawk Carpet Distribution LLC for Village Hall carpet replacement, priced through the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract. Separately, it authorized up to $12,000 in additional fees for SB Friedman Development Advisors LLC for downtown TIF development advisory services. The board approved ordinances extending Downtown TIF District No. 3 by 12 years and updating its redevelopment plan and budget. It also passed a resolution opposing Illinois American Water’s proposed $142.4 million rate increase. During public comment, residents raised questions about funding for approximately $700,000 in lead-service-line replacements, grants, and the use of water and sewer fund revenues; no related funding action was taken. A speaker also asked the Village to retire its Flock license-plate camera system, but no action on that request was recorded.
