The Delaware County Commissioners held a meeting on October 5, 2026. Procurement and funding actions included approval of a $594 digital information display pilot; Right Stuff Software Corporation hosting and software-license agreements for the Auditor’s Office; and IT network-resiliency and disaster-recovery projects. The IT requests included $55,000 for the network project and a disaster-recovery project totaling $150,543.90, with $55,543.90 proposed from 2026 EDIT funds and up to $95,000 from 2027 funds. Commissioners also approved a $1,280.68 fire-suppression repair and a $4,625 warranty-deed acquisition for the Cowan sidewalk project, to be funded from TIF. They approved a pharmacy-benefits business associate addendum related to the county’s move to RX Benefits and CVS. Bids for Bridge 103 over Mud Creek were received and referred for engineering and legal review; the transcript’s bidder names and amounts are unclear.
The county discussed applying for a $500,000 Indiana OCRA CDBG owner-occupied rehabilitation grant, with awards expected in January 2027 and an anticipated local application opening around March. A separate resolution for an $87,000 local match toward a $500,000 project passed subject to legal review and recommendation on the EDIT funding source. The commissioners also approved a resolution establishing a county Broadband Task Force. Public comments raised data-center zoning and transparency concerns, but no related procurement decision was made.
