McCune Collection Commission Regular Meeting - 10-05-2026 - City of Vallejo

The City of Vallejo McCune Collection Commission held its regular meeting on October 5, 2026. The commission welcomed and swore in reappointed Commissioner Kelly Booth; another new commissioner will be sworn in at a later date. City staff confirmed that the commission’s requested $2,500 budget allocation was approved. No acquisitions were presented for consideration, and no contracts, bids, or other purchasing decisions were discussed.

The commission reviewed upcoming public programming, including Art Walk exhibits through the following summer, and discussed possible future collaboration with the McEwen Foundation on presentations and other literary activities. It voted to place adding Art Walk as a standing item under public engagement on the December agenda for further consideration. The commission also approved the meeting agenda and the June 1, 2026 minutes.
