Hardin County Fiscal Court’s regular voting meeting was held October 13, 2026. The court approved its consent agenda, including a bid of approximately $848,000 for 14 EMS cardiac monitors; officials noted the existing Stryker ProCare contract expires November 30. Other items included FY2027 grant-pool funding for a bit-resurfacing agreement, renewal of an annual phone-services support contract for $40,000, rejection of bids for two box-remount projects, and an agreement to join a program that will require a device purchase estimated at about $15,000 in the future. The court also approved financial transfers. Separately, officials reported that repairs to the White Mills Bridge are expected to take about 60 days once work begins.
The court unanimously approved a resolution closing a 168-foot section of Spurer Alley in White Mills. It also adopted an ordinance regulating the sale of dogs and cats countywide, including within cities, and approved a temporary moratorium on rezoning and conditional-use permits for data centers while the Planning Commission reviews and recommends changes. These ordinances may affect future business and development opportunities in the county.
