The October 1, 2026 Parent Advisory Council meeting for Grants Pass School District 7 included presentations on districtwide student leadership programs, employability-skills instruction, and behavior-support systems. Members discussed leadership opportunities from elementary through high school, staff training and consistent behavior-response practices, and ways to encourage student participation in state testing. No contract awards, vendor selections, purchasing decisions, or other procurement activity were identified, and no votes were reported.

District staff announced two openings on the budget committee and invited eligible district residents to apply; applicants need not have children enrolled in the district. The district expects budget tours in February and March and a formal budget meeting in May, with a possible additional meeting if needed for approval. Applications were expected around November 14 and would be referred to the school board. No specific budget allocations or spending approvals were discussed.
