Rochester, NY City Council PAB Meeting - October 1st, 2026

The Rochester City Council Police Accountability Board met on October 1, 2026. The Board unanimously approved the prior meeting’s minutes and received committee updates. Legislative Affairs Committee work to seek support for pending police-accountability legislation continued, although the committee did not meet during the month. Members were encouraged to contact their state legislators. The Training Committee reported holding a training on characteristics of an effective board. Youth and Community Engagement discussed scheduling challenges, possible ways to clarify and track community outreach, and using social media to make the Board’s policy work more accessible.
