Staff reported a Texas Freightliner option at $59,500 plus a $2,600 transport fee and travel expenses (estimated total about $62,550), compared with a local United Rentals option at about $70,000. Commissioners discussed inspection, transport costs, and liability before approving the purchase ceiling.
