Newberg Dundee Board Meeting 9.15.26

Newberg Public Schools Board of Directors meeting, September 15, 2026. The board received the annual report on integrated grant-funded programs, including the Student Investment Account, High School Success, career and technical education, and attendance initiatives. The report described support for literacy and math, mental health, CTE instruction, and staffing; the Austin Family Foundation grants have allowed the district to continue staffing in mental health and CTE. The district also recognized a $300 Early Bird Rotary donation for the welcome-back staff lunch. No contracts, bids, vendor selections, or procurement awards were discussed. Members held a first reading of new policy KNA, required by Oregon law, establishing procedures for interactions with federal officials on school campuses.
